Bird Birthday Card

Hello again, I am back with another birthday card I made for my coworkers.

I am not sure if I had shared why this birthday card kick began for my coworkers so I thought I would share today.

The mood in the office had began to be low, people seemed sad, tired and somewhat unhappy.  I wanted to do something to help lift the mood and my coworkers spirits.  So I decided to make each person a handmade birthday card.  We celebrate birthdays quarterly so I just make the cards and have them for each person at the quarterly birthday celebration.

I started after the first quarter birthdays so I had to hand deliver those but I am caught up for the second quarter only had four to make.  I am on to quarter three with about 13 cards to make.

It has been a lot of fun and heartwarming for me to do thus project. I love the joy it has brought to my coworkers.  So I decided Inwould share most of my cards for this project on my blog.  I am new to this blog thing so thank you for hanging with me and any feed back you may have.

So let's move on to the card.  This is my  birdie birthday card hope you enjoy.

I created the birds using my expression 2 circut essentials cartridge using the drop and drops on page 33.  The paper used for the birds was some from my stash.  The black mat was from the French Manor cartridge. Tag1 background  pg 56 cut out using black core'dinations paper.

The background paper is from a studio g paper pack green from Michaels

The banner is green paper from my stash along with the buttons.

The happy birthday stamp is an old CTMH stamp I do not know the set name but it is at least 5 years old.  I masked off the word birthday and stamped happy and then masked off happy and stamed birthday so the could go size by side. On the wood block they are vertical not horizontal.

I placed the banner on foam circles by Elmer's

I hope you find inspiration and enjoy this card.

I am so grateful that I am able to share my love of art and crafting with you thank you for stopping by, please leave a commit let me know what you think.

Quilled Balloon Birthday Card

Here is another one of my birthday cards for my coworkers.

The card base is from the paper studio card 4x5.5

I quilled the balloons using purple and red quilling paper, the string for the balloons is twine from the target dollar bin.
The sentiment is stamped on card stock from my stash, and the sentiment is a wood block stamp from CTMH sorry not sure of the set it was given to me years ago.

I used Hampton art dye ink black
It was a super simple card loved making it, and looks nice.

Used black rain dots from cloud 9 on the sentiment too.

It has been fun making these cards for my coworkers, I have enjoyed being able to bring joy to those around me.

Hope you enjoy and I will have another card soon. Thank you for your interest.

Masculine Birthday Card #1

Hello fellow crafters,

I am working on my card stash as well as making cards for my coworkers.

I am a bit behind, but wanted to start posting these on my blog as I make them.  So this is the first one.  I am just getting back into paper crafting and am having so much fun.  I hope you find inspiration and enjoyment in my creations.  I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you as I grow in my crafting. Please enjoy.

I am grateful to be able to do something I love so much and to share with everyone

So this is a side view of the card.  I used a prepared card base by The Paper Studio 4x5.5
I inked the base with CTMH chocolate dye ink
Paper is from MME handsome paper pad and the stripes are the paper studio Tiny Stripe in brown

Sentiment is stamped on core'dinations paper from my stash
The sentiment is from a studio g stamp
Same ink as used above
Buttons are from favorite findings from my stash

Inside of the card uses core'dinations paper and the patterned paper is the tiny stripe in brown from the paper studio and button from stash.
